We enjoyed staying at the Ocean Cliff villa very much. We have stayed at various villas at HHBT for 8 years and this was easily the best ....

The price was resonable but the most we have ever spent at this resort.... it was worth it!

We stayed from May 6 to May 13, 2006. The unit was comfortable with adequate furnishings and lighting for reading. The weather was cool and cloudy/rainy, but we were able to enjoy the fantastic views from the balcony - we even saw a wedding on the beach. Thanks for the tall chairs on the deck so you could see over the railing!! We did watch one of the movies you had available. Although the kitchen and bathrooms were clean, there was considerable dust on the floors and the plant next to the bed was loaded with dust ( not good for allergies). The a/c was not working the first night and we had the maintenance person come. The circuit breaker had been tripped. The filters on the unit were incredibly dirty. There was one filter there that he replaced and we bought another one to replace at the other area in the hallway. After that, it worked fine. This is our second stay at HHBT Resort, and we liked this unit better for the location to the beach, plus it was easy to access via elevator/ramp for bringing things in. The furniture in this unit was more comfortable than many, and as I said had good lighting. It was also very quiet. Maybe you could have some novels available for those rainy days. I took 2 and read them both and was looking for something to read but there wasn't anything. The unit is well represented by the photographs on the website. We would liked to have stayed another week.

great view, just what we wanted. everything was there and the people that work there were very nice and helpful.
sometimes we felt "cozy", but a small price to pay for such a lovey room. the AC acted up the last day we were there, but we didn't mind.
loved every minute there.

Once again, we greatly enjoyed our stay - very calm and relaxing. We had everything we needed and everything was in working order. Especially appreciated the wireless internet connection. Your condo appeared to have had a lot of use this summer but was still clean and in good condition. One small complaint - the fitted sheet on the master bed was too small for the deep mattress and kept coming of. Thanks again - we plan to be back.

Our stay was great! It was even better this time because we new what to expect after having stayed there last year. We felt like we were back at home again. The roll away cot was very convenient for our daughter to sleep on at night and then move out of the way during the day. The weather was amazing the entire week, nothing but sun, warm temperatures and water. We didn't want to leave, and we can't wait to get back there next year. Of all the vacation rentals I have stayed in, Ocean Cliff is one of my favorites. Its location on the third floor just steps from a fantastic stretch of beach offers an amazing view and is very private. It would be hard to beat. The resort itself is pleasant with a friendly and helpful staff. The villa has been renovated in a way that makes a relatively small space seem quite open and roomy. The villa is comfortably furnished and well-equipped, and it includes high-speed wireless Internet connection. In a very short time I felt very much at home at Ocean Cliff. Laundry facilities are conveniently located just a few steps away. The owners have an easy, efficient booking system, and the check-in procedure was convenient and simple. My enquiries to the owners were always answered promptly. All in all my stay was a very positive experience, and I hope to return for another stay at Ocean Cliff. Thanks!

March 1-6, 2007 - Perfect location and ideal setting. Homey condo equipped to the maximum, well decorated, comfortable and cosy. Extremely quiet. Good security. Would rent again.

Check in/out was excellent. Great communication from owner throughout process. Condo was as described. View was extraordinary-loved the balcony! No problems with the elevator and loved the proximity to the beach. The only problems we had while there were the shower door and the refrigerator. The shower door was very hard to open and by the end of the week was impossible! The frig. made alot of noise which was bad for those sleeping on the sleeper sofa. Also, housekeeping had forgotten to leave us the sleeeper linens, but when I called, they were very prompt about bringing them to us. There was also an ugly water stain on the ceiling in the bedroom. Not having a door to give the bedroom some privacy was not a big problem for us, but it would have been nice to be able to go in there and shut a door. Still, the bedroom was nice and cozy...
The only other thing I would suggest is to do something with the BIG ugly glass table in the kitchen/dining area. It was too big and was in the way all week. Maybe you could rearrange the furniture, get a different table and make the living area more comfortable.
Had a great week and loved HHI as always.

Everything was perfect, from your condo to the weather, and our trip. I hooked up the automatic ice maker for you like I said I would. It works fantastic. No more filling trays( never enjoyed that). My few days were great - fantastic location. Will definitely like to be a regular renter.
The only issues I had were that I could not get the keys left on the kitchen table to work the front door lock, and the cable reception on the first few channels (network stations) was not good. Not that big of a deal. Again, had a great time.

We loved the view most of all..spectacular sunrises, full moon rises, high tides, dolphins, kites, and sandfree subathing, all from the balcony. The best recliner lounge chair ever!! The indoor furniture is comfortable and homelike, not your beachfare. The bed is awesomely comfortable. Wireless internet kept the friends back home jealously provided with up to the minute pictures. Improvements I'd like to see:once you opened cabinets, and closet doors there were dirty dishes/glasses/silverware, dirty shelves, and a couple awful scratched/toxic teflon pots, and disorder everywhere. It took a few hours of cleaning and organizing before we could settle in and hang up our clothes. There were no linens for the foldout couch or the cot, and the toilet needed fixing, as it ran every half hour or so. A water filter on the kitchen sink would have been nice, because the water is not so great. The space is great, the upkeep could be improved for the higher price of the rental. Overall, I'm depressed to be home because there's no ocean when I open the blinds here. I'd go back in a heartbeat, with my own water filter, pots and vegetable steamer!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ocean Cliff. We would highly recommend this location for a memorable vacation. The unit was clean, well furnished and the view was exceptional. We did not have any negative experiences.
The only suggestion is the changing of the sheet set and the repair of the door deadbolt lock.

My husband and I really enjoyed our week at Ocean Cliff. Aside from the trouble that we had concerning the toilet (the flapper was turned upside down) the unit was great everything was nice and felt clean. This was the most relaxing vacation experience that I have been on. To have the ocean right there outside of your door was wonderful. Hilton Head Island is a beutiful place, and the Beach and Tennis Resort was a nice place to stay as well, very quiet and well maintained. Thank you for your professionalism and for being accessible. Booking was simple and easy as well as using the lock box. I will difinitely recommend Ocean Cliff to my family and friends.

Had a very enjoyable week at Ocean Cliff. Weather was over cast most of the week but that did not stop us from enjoying the beach, golf and the beautiful view from the terrace. Looking forward to going back next year.

The villa was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the tile floor made it easy to keep clean. Last and most impressive, the panaoramic view from the balcony.
My husband and I were there for three weeks and found it easy, even in winter, to find things to do. The only change I would make would be to have a better stocked kitchen. There weren't enough pans, can openers didn't work, and a slow cooker would be nice.

The condo is exactly as described and no negative surprises. The booking process was quick, easy and effective. The key system is intelligent and easy. It is well equipped, especially some details in the kitchen like elegant wine glasses and even a rice cooker and wok. This kitchen is a pleasure to work in especially with the constant ocean view. The condo is pleasant and quiet and so close to the beach. One critissisism is the dusty artificial tree in the bedroom corner: very difficult for people suffering from asthma and allergies. An empty corner would look as good. We would definitely rent this condo again when we go back to Hilton Head.
